This silver three-piece tea service by Alexander Dick sold for £42,000 at Tennants Auctioneers. Interestingly, according to the Antiques Trade Gazette, it was originally estimated at £700-900. Then the mark was identified and the estimate revised to £20,000-30,000 (of course it sold for even more).
